Don't Forget.
Don't Forget: ADHD Task Timer
Task switching & focus tracker
A task timer for brains that switch: park what you were doing and come back to it in one tap.
- Role
- Design & development · Francesco Leoni

Come back in one tap.
A task timer built for brains that switch. Instead of asking you to stop getting interrupted, Don't Forget expects interruptions and keeps your place for you: tap Switch, and your current task is parked with its time, steps and notes saved.
A gentle nudge asks if you want to go back, and your parked task is waiting exactly as you left it. Break tasks into steps, see honest focus statistics, and keep your running task visible on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch with Live Activities, widgets and complications.
Why it exists
I kept switching between tasks and losing track of what I was doing before. Most focus apps treat an interruption as a failure; I wanted one that expects it, keeps my place, and brings me back when I’m ready.

Product decisions
Interruptions are part of the design
Tapping Switch parks the current task with its time, steps and notes, so changing context costs one tap instead of a mental note.
One “Up Next”, everywhere
The app, the Mac menu bar, widgets and the Watch share a single ranking of what to do next, built from plain rules: continue what you left, then your queue, then what’s due soon. There is no priority field: the queue is the priority.
No nagging
A task postponed three or more times moves to “Needs a decision” instead of sending another reminder.
Honest statistics
Focus statistics never present a correlation as a cause.
Voice never acts on its own
Dictating a task fills in the New Task form; nothing is created until you review and save it.
How it’s built
One SwiftUI codebase
iOS, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS, with widgets, Live Activities, Watch complications, a share extension, a Mac menu bar app and Siri Shortcuts through App Intents.
Shared, synced storage
Core Data with CloudKit sync, stored in an App Group so widgets and extensions read the same data. The data model is versioned and migrations are covered by tests.
A focus ledger
Every time the clock stops, the elapsed segment is recorded. Segments always add up to the task’s total time, and a step’s time can never exceed its task’s.
On-device voice
Speech recognition and parsing run entirely on device with Apple Speech and Apple’s Foundation Models. Transcripts never leave the phone, and the app asks instead of guessing AM or PM.
Privacy-first analytics
Typed events that never include user content, with an opt-out switch in Settings.
Automated quality
Unit tests with Swift Testing, and App Store screenshots generated by UI tests and fastlane.
